French River Day 7
Sunday
Suuny but chilly wind.
Set off at 10.15 for our last full day.
Lock 40 - la Roche Chambellay at 10.45
Lock 41 - Montreuil-sur-Maine at 11.20
Lock 42 - Grez-Neuville at 12.15
Stopped for lunch on the public pontoons at Pruillé at 12.45. Walked up through the village and moved on at 14.50.
Lock 43 - la Roussière with it's old looking wooden gates at 15.10.

Lock 44 - Sautret at 15.30.
Stopped again on the pontoons just above the bridge at Juigné at 16.00.
Went up into the town and found the little Châteaux de Juigné in it's park
and gardens.
We moved away at 16.35 and made our way back upstream towards the hire base returning through Locks 44 and 43.
We moored on the hire base pontoons and tidied up ready for an early check
out the following morning. Here is a view of the evening sun catching the
church at Grez-Neuville taken from just downstream of the road bridge. The
hire base is just through the bridge on the left.
